Vol. 12 No. 1 (2026): Chemchemi International Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences

Chemchemi, meaning “Fountain” in Swahili, is an international journal that publishes peer-reviewed  articles that advance academic research, inform practioners, and stimulate debate on key themes across the Humanities, Law, and Social Sciences, embracing both interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary perspectives.  Based in Africa with a global outlook, Chemchemi publishes original research articles, review articles and book reviews in English and Swahili, with an aim to disseminate new knowledge, document findings, and encourage further research. Special issues on selected themes are occasionally published and announced in advance.
